2012 Lotus Exige S Price, Review, Specs, what car reviews, Lotus has finally unveiled the new Exige S. This “ultimate lightweight high performance sportscar” comes bearing a new look inside and out, as well as a brand new engine that adds over 100 HP to the car’s output.
The look of the 2012 Lotus Exige S still claims it as an Exige, but the add-ons provided smooth out the sports car’s look, while still adding a certain degree of aggression to the design. The Exige S now carries a new front splitter that reveals a cleaner line across the front of the car and a smaller rear spoiler, both of which still improve the vehicle’s aerodynamics.
Electric Trains. Exige engine equipped with a supercharged 3.5-liter 24 valve V6, which is committed to produce power 345 hp (350 ps, ??257.5 KW, 3456 cc) @ 7000 rpm and £ 400-ft of torque at 4,500 rpm Nm / 295. Eaton machines use TV technology to deliver this power.
Drive is sent directly back through a six-speed transmission manually. Top speed 170mph (274 km / h), Exige is 00-60 (100 km / h) at 3.8 seconds and can reach 160mph at 7.8 seconds mark.
Tire size 265/45 R17 205/45 R18 front and rear, all with ventilated disc brakes. The fuel tank capacity of 40 liters of vehicle (8.8 gal), 2370mm wheelbase and carbon emissions of 199g/km. Some other details about the car is not yet known, will be published as soon as the car comes to market.
Exterior and interior. Aggressive front splitter and rear spoiler to provide an aerodynamic profile. It features a high performance custom package with Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires wheels as standard. Model 2012 is 10 inches long and two inches wider than the previous model is built on a lightweight steel rear sub frame. The length, width and height of 159.5 inches (4052mm) 70.9 inches (1802 mm) 45.4 inches (1153 mm) in order. Angle is 7.4 degrees front to back and 16.4 degrees.
This model is currently offered in two interior packages, Premium and Premium Sports. Premium Premium focuses on comfort while S is all about and a sporty driving experience. Inside, the smooth contour of the panel and the new DPM Lotus driving management program. DPM enables the driver to choose between three modes-DPM-off, touring and sports.
DPM has the systems include DTC (Drag Torque Control), TCS (Traction Control System), ABS (Anti lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution), CBC (Corner Brake Control), EDL (Electronic Lock in practice), ESC (Electronic Stability Control), HBA (Hydraulic Brake Assist), and under the direct recognition. If that is not enough for you, there are also four modes: Race is available through more choices Pack Race. This setting provides maximum traction, Launch Control and optimized to monitor the suspension.
