The XF is offered in several different configurations; it comes as an XF base model sporting a 5.0 Liter V-8 engine with 385-horsepower or you can get the XFR, sport performance vehicle with a 5.0 Liter V-8 engine and 510-horsepower married to a six-speed automatic transmission if you desire. The Jaguar XF is helping the carmaker re-distinguish itself as a high-class car manufacturer; it’s loaded to the brim with exceptional materials and plenty of technologies.

The Premium XF car hosts a portfolio package too which adds on luxuries. Inside one will find wood veneers, contrast stitching, and deep-pile carpeting. The 2011 Jaguar XF is a clear departure from conventional Jaguar styling that boasts a solid mix of classic cues and modern designs that make the car a stand-out in any crowd. The XF comes with strong luxury credentials including standard leather, navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry and starting, a premium stereo with satellite radio and auxiliary inputs and heated seats.

The 385-horsepower 5.0-liter V-8 is as solid a base engine as you’re going to find in the segment where the XF plays. Performance buffs will prefer the 510-hp supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 that powers the XFR, the returning Supercharged model offers a comfortable middle-ground with 470 horsepower. The XF’s transmission offers several settings for various surfaces and performance. Driver and passenger front and side airbags are standard, as are full-length side curtain airbags. Electronic aids include Stability and Traction Control, Corner Braking Control and Emergency Brake Assist.
