2011 Audi TT Price, Review & PriceNew Car Reviews, The 2011 Audi TTS gets new exterior trim and wheels as well as standard leather and power seats. The base Premium model has been dropped from the TTS line, leaving only the Premium Plus and Prestige models. A sport mode that adjusts the suspension and steering is now standard across the TTS line. The TT, meanwhile, gets a more powerful engine and new trim to make it look more like the TTS.

The 2011 Audi TT is now in its fourth model year since its last major restructuring. This year the Audi TT gets a better engine and exterior as well as interior refreshing changes. Similarly, the Audi TTS has received some refreshments for 2011 guaranteeing the competitive nature of the vehicles when compared to leading Euro, sporty coupe variants.

The Audi TTS comes with a 2.0-Liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with 265hp/258 of torque. The Audi TT base model gets the 2.0-Liter turbo with 211hp/258 of torque. Both engine configurations are joined to a Dual Clutch Automatic transmission as well as the Quattro All Wheel Drive system.

If the car buyer opts for the fixed roof option, the vehicle is a four-seater configuration. However, both the Audi TT and the TTS are truly two-passenger cars since the rear seating area is extremely cramped. The MMI interface is compromised by the car’s cockpit. The car’s center stack offers a control just to the right of the infotainment system rather than centered on the console where it would be easier to control.

Though originally bubbly and avant-garde, the Audi TT has grown into a sleek, sporty coupe. The 2011 TT adds new headlights and taillights to a new grille, while the TTS adds new 19-inch wheels and a new grille with chrome accents. The 2011 TT adds three new interior colors and new aluminum trim. The 2011 TTS now offers standard leather, power seats and an auto-dimming mirror. Heated seats, a navigation system and stereo upgrades are all standalone upgrades for the TTS.

The 2011 Audi TT’s turbocharged four-cylinder engine is updated with Audi Valve Lift and now offers 211 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Upgraded for the hot TTS model, the turbo four makes 265 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque sent to all four wheels via a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive. A revised base engine with a bit more power is expected in 2011. Front, side, curtain and knee airbags are all standard on the TT and TTS. Electronic aids including traction control and stability control are also standard.
