Minor cosmetic changes were offered in 2009 including the add-on of the 3.0 Liter, V-6 supercharged engine. In 2011, the Audi A6 enters the car segment with several more small alterations as its projected restructuring draws closer. Front seat heaters and a multi-function, leather-wrapped steering wheel are optional on lower models and standard on higher models.

Performance buffs can choose from a 4.2-liter V-8 (350 horsepower and 325 pound feet) and AWD or the sizzling S6 model with its 435 horsepower V-10 routed through sticky quattro AWD.
