After six years of being on the road, the Audi A6 will undoubtedly have a new design, one that is long anticipated. Despite its aging platform, the Audi A6 remains seriously competitive, and still competes well since it sports the Quattro All Wheel Drive system and it is sold with several, decent engine options.

Minor cosmetic changes were offered in 2009 including the add-on of the 3.0 Liter, V-6 supercharged engine. In 2011, the Audi A6 enters the car segment with several more small alterations as its projected restructuring draws closer. The A6 is offered as a sedan or wagon, and the choice of engines is definitely nice, so this car is ideal for a variety of car buyers.

The Audi A6 has always had an attractive interior and body: this remains unchanged, but the chassis is clearly aging. The standard base A6 model has superior grippage on the road, but the suspension rides hard, the car has too much tire, and thus, the vehicle is noisy: a problem that is not remedied by the cabin of the A6.

Performance buffs can choose from a 4.2-liter V-8 (350 horsepower and 325 pound feet) and AWD or the sizzling S6 model with its 435 horsepower V-10 routed through sticky quattro AWD.
